Chair Jerry Gieseke

Jerry Gieseke has been involved in running conventions in the Pacific Northwest for eight years. During that time he has run registration, security, club/fan tables, and served as secretary and treasurer, as well as filled various supporting positions for multiple conventions, he has also served on the Board of Directors of Rustycon, and is now serving his fourth year as a member of the Board of Directors for SWOC.

Vice Chair Shawn Marier

Shawn Marier has been a director of SWOC since 1995. He has also been chair of Norwescon three times, as well as a couple of smaller conventions. Among his other interests, Shawn has been a DJ for a number of Seattle-area conventions.

Treasurer Susan Robinson

Susan Robinson was Treasurer of Cascadia Con.

Secretary Jim Granger

Jim Granger is webmaster of Rustycon, and has worked in various roles for Rustycon and Westercon.

Director Bobbie DuFault

Bobbie DuFault is the chair of the Seattle in 2011 Worldcon bid. She was also chair of Cascadia Con, and she has been chair of Rustycon. She is in charge of Volunteers for Nippon 2007. Bobbie is actively involved in Reading for the Future. She is a technical and nonfiction writer, author of Science Fiction and Fantasy in the Classroom: The Best Websites.

Director Sally Woehrle

Sally Woehrle was the chair of Westercon 50 in 1997, and has served as chair of SWOC a number of times since. Sally was department head for Handicapped Access for Noreascon Four and LACon IV, and she was division head for Facilities at Cascadia Con.

Director Alexander von Thorn

Alex von Thorn was vice-chair of the Seattle in 2005 NASFiC and head of programming for Cascadia Con; he is currently webmaster for SWOC and the Seattle in 2011 Worldcon bid. He won the Aurora Award for fan writing in 2002. In the past year he has been staff for Demicon, World Horror Con, FilkOntario, Ad Astra, ConFusion, and LACon IV, and is also working on Nippon 2007. He lives near Washington, DC.
